My journey into electronics started with my first guitar at age 12. It didn't sound like what I was hearing on the radio, and having no money, I was forced to reverse engineer my first distortion pedal. I quickly found my love of music was not just playing guitar, but more about the shaping of the sound and correcting the usual problems encountered when recording music. I joined Rupert Neve in the late 90's to assist with the development of the Pure Path series for Amek (click pic for story) and we soon after started Rupert Neve Designs company. After designing the 5088 Console, I started Burgin McDaniel Designs and created a catalog for Radial Engineering.
After a 10 year island hopping adventure in a kayak, I have returned refreshed and ready to bring you some new gear for your studios!
